Questions and answers
What is Daywise?
Daywise is a free day planner and simple task management app. Instead of one endless to-do list, you plan each day on its own and focus on the few tasks that matter today.
Is Daywise free?
Yes. Daywise is a free planner: create an account in the web app and start planning your days. There's nothing to download.
Why use a day planner instead of a regular to-do list app?
Long to-do lists grow until they're overwhelming. A day planner asks a simpler question: what will you do today? Daywise keeps each day short, puts your top priority first, and carries anything unfinished forward, so your task management stays simple.
What happens to tasks I don't finish?
They roll over. Unfinished tasks from past days move to today automatically, based on your own time zone, so you never have to copy them by hand.
Does Daywise work offline?
Yes. The web app keeps your recently viewed days available without a connection. Editing pauses while you're offline and picks up again when you reconnect.
Is there a mobile app?
Native apps for iPhone and Android are coming soon. Until then, open the web app on your phone and add it to your home screen. It installs and works like an app.
What happens when I travel?
Days in Daywise are calendar dates, not timestamps, so a task planned for Monday stays on Monday wherever you are.
Can I tag people on tasks?
Yes. Each label has its own group of people, such as colleagues for Office or family for Home. People are private names for your own reference; they aren't invited or notified.
